STC has been approved by R.I.Na. – BV – LLoyd Register – ABS as a company authorised to carry out thickness gauging on ships with issuing of reports in compliance with the IACS Unified Requirements international standard.

STC has been approved by the CIC – PnD as a company authorised to carry out non-destructive tests with the issuing of reports in compliance with the P.E.D. (Pressure Equipment Directive).

The company is made up of a team of professionals with experience acquired working with leading companies operating in various sectors, such as metalworking, gas & oil plant engineering, offshore, food, aerospace, etc.

• Personnel with 2nd level qualifications in accordance with Recommendation SNT.TC.1A – ISO 9712 – API RP 2X for the performance of non-destructive tests using the following methods: RADIOGRAPHIC TESTING (RT) – ULTRASONIC TESTING (UT- UT P.A.) – MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION (MPI) – DYE/FLUORESCENT PENETRANT (PT) – THICKNESS GAUGING (UTS), VISUAL-VIDEOINSPECTION (VT).
• Personnel with 3rd level qualification in accordance with the ISO 9712 and SNT-TC-1A standard in UT-PT-MT-RT-VT methods.
• Personnel with qualification in the methods: THERMOGRAPHIC TESTING (IT), WELDING INSPECTION (TWI – CSWIP / IIS IWI-B).
• Personnel with experience in managing quality control, conduct within accredited institutes, in companies operating in the various sectors of petro-chemicals, chemical, Off-Shore, transport and civil engineering.
